Do you feel uninspired?

Yesterday I was sitting at my desk in front my computer working and I had another light bulb moment.

You may or may not know but 6 months ago, my husband and I decided to go separate ways. This is the first time in my life where I'm able to go through a breakup while supporting each other all the way, still feeling grounded and at the same time growing my business leaps and bounds.

You see, if this were to happen 6-7 years ago, I'd probably be crying everyday, feeling depressed and finding it hard to deal with the whole situation.

So what changed?

For the past couple of years, I've been doing deep inner work through spending time in the jungle in Peru with medicine men and women, doing personal development, spirituality and working on my mindset. This has not only helped me in my personal life going through a breakup graciously, but also in my business.

There are many times when I feel uninspired, tired, clueless, overwhelmed, fearful and unmotivated. That's normal for every business owner. But whenever I feel those things, instead of complaining or playing victim, I become aware of what I'm experiencing and take it as a lesson that's teaching me something.

And also knowing fully that this is part of being an entrepreneur and that it will pass.

As a business owner, whether starting or established, I know you'll go through your fair share of those emotions as well. So I want to share with you four things that I do that has enabled me not only to make 5-figure income within the first 3 months of starting my business but also create the same results for my clients as well.

1. HIRE A COACH - sounds like a no brainer but also sounds scary I know. However, it has helped me so much both for my life and business - gain confidence, get direction, learn strategy and make $$$ - that I've hired $10,000+ coaches over and over again. I'm currently working with my third coach.

2. PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT - having a coach is great but if we're not aware, we can become so dependent on our coach. That's why I decided to invest over $30,000 in my own personal development. It has helped me break through my own personal barriers, shift my mindset and basically turned me into who I am today.

3. MEDITATION - if you've been following me, you'll know that one of my secrets to success is meditation. As a Burmese and growing up in a Buddhist country, vipasssana meditation is my go to medicine. Doesn't have to be that for you but I recommend you to do something that grounds and centres you. May be yoga?

4. FOLLOW YOUR FEARS - Fear is one of the things that stop many women from achieving their goals. But fear is a sign of potential. It's a sign of growth. So when you experience fear of failure, fear of putting yourself out there and fear of judgement, know that it's only a sign for your success. 2016 is the year I'm devoted to follow my fears.

So what fears will you follow this year?

I'm able to have the success I have right now in my life and business because of all the hard work I put in myself. I've made so many mistakes and I've learned heaps from them as well.
